With its international orientation, the IO-Link Service Center plays an important role as a link between the various IO-Link organizations worldwide.
The tasks of the office include:
- Event management: Organization and execution of events such as conferences, workshops and webinars to promote the exchange of knowledge and the further development of IO-Link technology.
- Trade show participation: Planning and execution of trade show participation to present IO-Link technology at national and international trade shows and to expand the community network.
- Technology Training: Organizing training courses for members and interested parties to deepen the knowledge of IO-Link and facilitate its implementation.
- IT Infrastructure: Management and maintenance of IT services such as the official IO-Link website, the project server, and SharePoint for sharing information and resources within the community.
In addition, the activities of the office include the following services:
- Onboarding of new members: Support and integration of new members into the IO-Link community, including the provision of necessary resources and information.
- Licensing: Licensing the use of the IO-Link brand to ensure that all brand guidelines are followed and the brand is used correctly.
- Coordinate and create publications: Organizing and writing press releases, technical articles, and other communication materials to promote IO-Link and the community.
- IO-Link word and figurative mark: The right to use the IO-Link word and figurative mark is linked to membership of the IO-Link community, provided that the products comply with the IO-Link specification and have been tested in accordance with the test specification using the test tools approved by the IO-Link community (manufacturer's declaration). There is also an IO-Link Inside logo for querying. The logo files can be requested from info@io-link.com.
- Customer Support: Handling requests to the central e-mail address info(at)io-link(dot)com in close cooperation with the IO-Link Competence and Test Centers to quickly and competently answer technical and general questions from the community.
Thus, the office plays a decisive role in the organization and support of the IO-Link community and contributes to the continuous development of the technology.
